ITV Dickinson’s Real Deal comes to Birmingham ahead of Lichfield auction
September 10th, 2026
Dealer Day Saturday 19th September
PEOPLE are invited to cash in with celebrity antiques expert David Dickinson when he visits Birmingham later this month.
‘The Duke’ and his team of dealers from ITV’s Dickinson’s Real Deal will be at the Sports Illustrated Warehouse at Villa Park on Saturday, September 19, from 8am to 5pm.
People should bring photo ID but admission is free and booking is optional.

Now in its 20th anniversary year, the show sees members of the public bring in all types of antiques, collectables and valuables from gold, silver and jewellery to vintage records, art, and toys, for free advice from a team of independent valuers.
David Dickinson will be keeping an eye on proceedings as people choose between accepting cash offers from dealers for their items or gambling to get more at auction instead.
The final decision lies with each contributor and it’s up to them to pick which option is the Real Deal – a proper Bobby Dazzler!

David Dickinson said: “We’ve always had some of the best days when we’ve come to Birmingham over the years – we always meet some great characters, who bring some lovely items and get big money deals, so hopefully we will have more at the SI Warehouse.
“I always enjoy coming to Birmingham – it’s a wonderful and vibrant city.
“Now that’s the Real Deal.”

David will be joined by dealers Fay Rutter, Tim Hogarth, Jan Keyne and James Layte.
Walsall-based antiques dealer and gemmologist Fay said: “I am incredibly excited as it is as Aston Villa, and only down the road.
“It’s not often I get to work so close to home and if there’s one thing I know it’s the people of Birmingham are going to be fantastic.”
She added: “The people of Birmingham are nothing short of amazing and we are going to have a Peaky Blinder of a day.”

Staffordshire auctioneer Richard Winterton and his team will also be there and items consigned to auction will go under the hammer with him at The Lichfield Auction Centre, Fradley Park, on Monday, October 5, starting at 9am.
David Dickinson will be filming at the sale with the Dickinson’s Real Deal camera crews to capture the auction action for the show and people are invited to come along to the saleroom on the day.
Sellers who don’t make it on to the show will also have the chance to sell their items through Richard Winterton Auctioneers or to show sponsor Vintage Cash Cow.

Richard Winterton added: “We are delighted to be welcoming David and his team back to Lichfield once again and I can’t wait for the Dealer Day in Birmingham.”
