CONSIGNED to sale with Richard Winterton Auctioneers at The Lichfield Auction Centre next month is an early 20th century ‘Bridgewater’ easy chair by Lenygon & Morant Ltd, makers of Howard chairs and settees.

Catalogued as Lot 201 of Monday, October 5, and estimated at £2,200-£2,500, the chair has original Howard Lichen upholstery and is raised on square tapered front legs with bass castors.

A fabric label to the underside reads: “Lenygon & Morant Ltd, Makers of Howard chairs & settees, 48 South Audley St. London W1.”
