Autographs include Sir Jackie Stewart, Graham Hill and Sir Stirling Moss

A COLLECTION of motor racing memorabilia with an incredible connection to the world of Formula 1 and Dunlop Tyres is due to take pole position at a Lichfield auction.

• Stirling Moss

• Jackie Stewart

Many of the pieces were signed for Richard ‘Dick’ Jeffery, competitions director for Dunlop Tyres during the 1960s.

Adding another special connection to the collection is cataloguer and valuer Rob French, who worked for Dunlop for more than 30 years before joining the team at Richard Winterton Auctioneers.

The collection also includes notes relating to Bluebird, racing badges, thermometers and much more, offering a wonderful insight into the world of motor racing during an exciting era.
