Preview: Royal Enfield, BSA and Velocette among motorbikes in Lichfield historic vehicles auction

HISTORIC motorbikes and cherished number plates have joined the line-up of vehicles going under the hammer with Richard Winterton Auctioneers on July 27.

A 1966 Royal Enfield Turbo Twin 250cc, pictured top of page, and a 1938 Velocette GTP 250cc are both road ready.

A different vendor has consigned a 1955 BSA Golden Flash 650cc, with the cherished number plate ‘ROB 326’, and a 1974 Honda CB360 360cc. Both bikes are ready for restoration.

There is also another cherished number plate retention document for ‘BDH 100’.

Starting at 9am, the July 27 Antique & Home Sale also features a 1972 Lotus Elan FHC Sprint, 1974 Innocenti Mini Cooper in red with a black roof and a 1967 MG MGB, all restored, and a 1956 ex-military Series One Land Rover 88 inch.
