A SUPER collection of Portmeirion ceramics is coming up for sale with Richard Winterton Auctioneers.

The Antiques & Home Sale on Monday, September 21, showcases the incredible accummulation of hundreds of pieces including limited editions, rare examples and original moulds.

A world-renowned British ceramic brand, Portmeirion Pottery is famous for its distinctive botanical and mid-century mix-and-match dinnerware.

Founded in 1960 by legendary designer Susan Williams-Ellis and her husband, Euan Cooper-Willis, the company originally made exclusive ceramics for the gift shop at the famous Italianate Portmeirion Village in North Wales, which was designed by Susan's father, the visionary architect Sir Clough Williams-Ellis.

Monday's sale at The Lichfield Auction Centre features a beautiful single-owner collection of Portmeirion Pottery consigned following an initial valuation with David Fergus at The Auction Café in Lichfield and carefully catalogued across 47 lots.
