Recent sales of jewellery include a collection of inherited pieces which notched up almost £30,000 at auction in Lichfield after being locked in a safe for two decades.

Ben said: "We are really looking forward to meeting lots of people at The Trinity Centre on February 12 and hearing all about their treasured timepieces and jewellery.

"The market for luxury timepieces, niche and collectable watches at auction remains buoyant.

"Hosted on two online platforms as well as live in the room, and also with the facility to accommodate telephone bidders, our sales are the ideal way to showcase all types of watches to collectors all over the world.

"It's the same situation with jewellery – we had some exciting scenes in the saleroom recently with the auction of a stunning 5ct natural diamond ring which was part of the lovely collection of inherited jewellery.

"The hammer eventually came down at £13,500 for a buyer in the room after a big bidding battle against people online and over the telephone.

"We're looking forward to creating more of these magical moments for clients at auction."
