TV broadcast date for new Bargain Hunt episode filmed in Lichfield

RICHARD Winterton Auctioneers features on a new episode of popular TV antiques programme Bargain Hunt to be transmitted in April.

Filming took place at The Lichfield Auction Centre, on October 22, with people travelling from all over the country to visit the auction with Richard Winterton yielding the gavel.

Four episodes were recorded in total, with two being 2024 Christmas programmes shown during the festive season.

The new episode, Series 71 Newark 01, will be transmitted on BBC One at 12.15pm on Monday, April 7.

Eric Knowles hosts the episode from Nottinghamshire, where two teams of friends go shopping for three bargains in an hour.

The red team are led by Raj Bisram and the blue team are guided by Izzie Balmer.

The items then go under Richard Winterton’s gavel at The Lichfield Auction Centre.
