RICHARD Winterton Auctioneers features on another new episode of popular TV antiques programme Bargain Hunt to be broadcast later this month.
The new episode, Series 71 Newark 2, will be transmitted on BBC One at 12.15pm on Friday, April 25.
Filming took place at The Lichfield Auction Centre on October 22, with people travelling from all over the country to visit the auction with Richard Winterton yielding the gavel.
Four episodes were recorded in total, with two being 2024 Christmas programmes shown during the festive season.
The other programme was broadcast on April 7 and can still be watched on BBC iPlayer.
The upcoming episode is also hosted by Eric Knowles and it’s a chilly start from Newark antiques fair in Nottinghamshire.
But in no time, the teams work up a sweat trying to buy three profitable items in an hour.
Expert Raj Bisram captains the red team while Izzie Balmer guides the blue team.
The items then go under Richard Winterton’s gavel at The Lichfield Auction Centre where there are plenty of surprises, with both teams’ items tempting the bidders.
The Auction Café in Market Street, Lichfield, offers free jewellery and watch valuations every Tuesday, valuations of fine art, ceramics, glass and silver on Thursdays and a variety of specialist collectors valuations each Wednesday - click here for upcoming dates.
