SPECIALIST Stuart Hay will be putting people in the picture with free valuations of cameras, pens, records, hi-fi and musical instruments in Tamworth next month.

Stuart will be at The Tamworth Auction Rooms in Church Street between 10am and 4pm on Wednesday, April 9.

"Bidders from all over the world have an interest in antique, vintage or modern cameras and lenses," said Stuart.

"Popular brands include Leica, Hasselblad, Nikon, Canon, Reid and Sigrist, Zeiss, Olympus, Zenza Bronica, Kodak, Pentax, Mamiya, Voigtlander and Swarovski.

"Pens are another strong market at auction, with evergreen favourites including Montblanc, Sheaffer, Parker, Dunhill, Waterman, Swan, Platinum, Pilot, Cross, Mabie Todd, Montegrappa and Namiki."

Stuart will also be offering free valuations of vinyl, hi-fi and musical instruments including guitars by Fender, Gibson, Martin, Guild and Gretsch as well as violins, saxophones and accordions.

Original vinyl records from The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen, Slade and Black Sabbath remain very collectable and the resurgence of vinyl has also boosted demad for quality vintage and modern hi-fi equipment from turntables, amplifiers and speakers to stereos and reel-to-reel players

Popular brands include Garrard, Bang and Olufsen, Thorens, Bose,  Goldring Lenco, Leak, Tascam, Micro Seiki, Quad, Mission, Luxman, Linn, Naim, Tannoy, Linn Audio and Tannoy.
