Sponsoring Staffordshire's 2022 Best Kept Village competition
RICHARD Winterton Auctioneers is delighted to once again be headline sponsor of Staffordshire’s Best Kept Village Community Competition.2022 will be the first time the popular event can run to its full extent following Covid and it aims to celebrate the community aspect of village life alongside a range of new competitions for young people.
Richard Winterton Auctioneers’ Best Kept Village Community Competition (BKVC) also illustrates the amount of voluntary work which goes in to keeping Staffordshire beautiful and how communities work together to make where they live a place they are proud to call home.
Bargain Hunt and Dickinson’s Real Deal auctioneer Richard Winterton is hoping to visit as many of the villages taking part in the 2022 competition as possible.
“After 2020’s cancellation and last year’s virtual event, we are thrilled to be involved as sponsors of this special competition,” he said.
“We’re happy to host a special free valuation event or a charity talk in the communities taking part to help celebrate BKVC 2022.

The 2021 Richard Winterton Auctioneers Award for Community Spirit was presented to Hill Ridware.
The competition, which dates back to 1956, is now managed by The Community Foundation for Staffordshire.
“We are so excited to run the Best Kept Village Community competition once again after Covid,” said organiser Jo Cooper.
"The introduction of new competitions showcase what a perfect platform this is to showcase and celebrate our wonderful Staffordshire communities.
“The judges are dedicated volunteers who spend hours touring the villages and for them it’s not about finding the most beautiful, picturesque village. The winners are varied and diverse and the most successful communities are often those that achieve the greatest involvement and community spirit from their residents.”
