Sparkling sales smash records!
WE are delighted to announce that our November 30 online-only auction was yet another record-breaker!The sale achieved a 93.7 per cent selling rate on 1,042 lots, bringing in an average price per lot of £158.68 with 1,480 people bidding online from all over the world.
The clocks in the auction alone made £53,000.
As well as being our biggest-ever one day sale, our November records and the average price per lot in a single day sale were both SMASHED!
Other highlights included a Rolex Submariner Date fetching £6,000 and a Rolex Datejust on its original jubilee bracelet making £3,200.
A large single stone diamond ring (pictured above) sold for £4,600 and a handbuilt 7 1/4 inch scale live steam locomotive also departed for a £4,600 hammer price.
An antique oil painting by Saint Clair Augustin Mullholland depicting merchants' boats on Venice's Grand Canal sold for £2,700 and a superb Victorian burr walnut breakfast table made £1,500.
A collection of camera equipment made £1,750, two sets of Pokemon cards sold for £1,370 and collections of political, comic and cinematic postcards realised £1,225.
A late 19th century musical box sold for £1,050 and a Belleek Parian figure made £1,000.
