San Diego Comic-Con Star Wars LEGO sells at £2,100 in Tamworth toy auction

Rare 2008 boxed set
RARE promotional Star Wars LEGO from San Diego Comic-Con has sold for £2,100 at auction in Tamworth.
Acquired by the vendor at the 2008 San Diego Comic-Con and originally limited to 1,200 sets, the Star Wars Clone Wars package includes a boxed and sealed Hailfire Droid and Spider Droid set 7670 and a Droids Battle Pack 7654 branded Star Wars 30th Anniversary.
Also included are a Captain Rex and quantity of Clone Troopers figures within a plastic bag and a 2008 Clone Wars comic poster with figure gallery to the reverse.
The scarse merchandise featured in Richard Winterton Auctioneers' Toys & Trains Sale on Wednesday, June 24, at The Tamworth Auction Rooms.
