THIS award-winning 1966 Morris Minor 1000 Convertible goes under the hammer with Richard Winterton Auctioneers on Monday, April 7.
Taking place at The Lichfield Auction Centre, Wood End Lane, Fradley Park, the sale starts at 9am.
Now named Mirabelle, the car was first registered on July 14 1966 with the number plate JYC 447D.
It has a 1098cc petrol engine with a four speed manual transmission and is painted in Olde English white.
The vehicle has six former keepers; vendor Andrew Bywater purchased the car in 2008 to restore and use as an original convertible in his wedding hire business.
Mr Bywater fully restored the vehicle to Grade 1 Standard in April 2008 and documentation and photographs of the restoration are included.
Since then, the vehicle has been shown in numerous classic car shows, winning awards, and featured in various magazine articles, including the front cover of the owner's club magazine.
Mirabelle has driven in the Lichfield Bower parade and was amongst several cars displayed at the NEC Classic Car Show.
In between weddings, the car featured in a promotional video for the musical album Em by Benjamin Till; the mirror used in the film by performer Ruby Ablett has been supplied with the vehicle.
In 2017, Mr Bywater was on stage with Practical Classics magazine as runner-up for Restorer Of The Year.
He also writes occasional technical articles for the club magazine.
Don't forget, Richard Winterton Auctioneers offers a special Buyer’s Premium of 10% plus VAT on the hammer price of motor vehicles.
