Pokémon TCG in Lichfield auction: Base Set to EX Dragon plus Japanese cards

A HUGE collection of Pokémon cards goes under the hammer with Richard Winterton Auctioneers next Monday, September 14.

Catalogued across 19 impressive lots from Lot 844 to Lot 862 and spanning Base Set through to EX Dragon, the collection originally came to The Lichfield Auction Centre following a valuation enquiry.

Highlights include:

• A collection of Legendary Collection Reverse Holos, including Alakazam, Flareon, Jolteon and Machamp (see detail top of page)

• Skyridge Golem #148 Secret Rare Card, in excellent to near-mint condition

• e-Reader Series cards from Expedition and Aquapolis, including Mew #19 and Togetic H27

• Neo Revelation Shining Gyarados.

There are also two lots featuring Japanese Pokémon - Lot 859 includes the Japanese Jungle, Fossil, Team Rocket, Gym Heroes and Gym Challenge sets, plus the uncensored Sabrina's Gengar and the Japanese exclusive Imakuni's Doduo card.

Lot 860  (pictured above) includes cards from the Japanese Neo Genesis, Neo Discovery, Neo Revelation, Neo Destiny, Expedition and Aquapolis sets, plus various promotional cards including the Snorlax CD promo.

The catalogue can be viewed online now. View in person at The Lichfield Auction Centre, Wood End Lane, Fradley Park, between 10am and 4pm on Friday, September 11.
