New photography by Lichfield Camera Club comes to The Auction Café

Update to showcase local villages

LICHFIELD Camera Club and Richard Winterton Auctioneers' partnership is set to enter a new phase with a refresh of the group’s photography in The Auction Café.

Eight striking black and white images of Lichfield and its surrounding area have attracted many positive comments at the popular Market Street coffee shop and valuation hub.

Now they are to be replaced by a new set taken in the villages surrounding Lichfield and Burntwood.

Copies of the images displayed will be available for purchase.

Managing director Richard Winterton said: "We've had lots of positive comments from customers admiring Lichfield Camera Club's work on the walls in the café and we're looking forward to launching this next phase of our partnership exploring local villages."

The new display will include photography from areas including Alrewas, Burntwood, Clifton Campville, Gentleshaw, Whittington and Wychnor.

Lichfield Camera Club chairman Joe Anderson said: "We are very grateful to Richard Winterton Auctioneers for giving us the opportunity to showcase our members’ work and look forward to providing further updates."

Affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain through the Midland Counties Photographic Federation, Lichfield Camera Club meets every Wednesday at Lichfield Methodist Centre, Backcester Lane.

Free valuations of jewellery, watches, gold and silver take place at the café between 9.30am and 3pm on Tuesdays, with different specialists offering other valuations most Wednesdays from 9.30am to 12.30pm.

Keep up-to-date with events at The Auction Café online and look out for the new leaflet featuring all November valuations at the counter inside.
