Further expansion plans announced
Richard Winterton Auctioneers are delighted to announce that work has begun on expanding their premises located at Fradley Park. The Staffordshire auction house moved into their second premises in November last year and has seen their sales go from strength to strength.
Richard Winterton, a regular on programs such as BBC’s Bargain Hunt and ITV’s Real Deal, comments “We have been overwhelmed with the positive response from our customers since opening at Fradley Park. We are seeing strong growth across all areas of our business, in particular house clearances and specialist sales and are now poised to make changes that will pave the way for the future growth of our business”
The Lichfield Auction Centre already houses 2 state of the art salerooms, large on-site car parking and 4 viewing rooms. The expansion plans will encompass a renovated refreshment area, 4 new viewing rooms and bespoke valuation offices.
“Our valuation days are immensely popular so it makes sense to create a dedicated area within the building. Customers will be able to come and meet our specialist valuers in bespoke valuation offices, where they can discuss values and the auction process” adds Richard Winterton.
The expansion works are underway, with the first phase due for completion in time for the forthcoming Country House & Fine Art sale on 25th May. The works will be completed by the end of August.
The Lichfield Auction Centre is the second saleroom operated by Richard Winterton Auctioneers. The auction house continues to have a presence in Lichfield City Centre, with its Collectors’ saleroom in the Cross Keys area of the City. The Cross Keys saleroom is the venue for the immensely popular quarterly Collectors’ sales, which see buyers travel from across the country to view and bid on Collector’s items.
