Early Christmas in Lichfield as Bargain Hunt films festive auction for TV
CHRISTMAS came early to Lichfield as Richard Winterton Auctioneers filmed the Bargain Hunt Christmas Special auction!The popular BBC television programme was at The Lichfield Auction Centre on Tuesday, October 11, filming for four programmes, two of which will be Christmas episodes.
Fans flocked from all over the country to watch the auction at the Fradley saleroom, with Richard Winterton - suitably dressed up for the occasion - at the rostrum.
Dapper gent: Richard was suitably attired for the Bargain Hunt Christmas Special auction!"What a great day - it certainly was a Christmas cracker,” he said.
"Thanks to everyone who came along - it was wonderful to see so many old friends and make plenty more new ones.
"By the way, don't worry - the Christmas decorations have all been taken down again... for now!"
