Jewellery, coins, medals and militaria valuations at Burton Albion Community Football Centre from 10am-12pm
OUR next special valuation event in aid of Burton Albion Community Trust (BACT) takes place there on Tuesday, November 26.
A team from Richard Winterton Auctioneers will be offering advice on jewellery, watches, medals, militaria, coins, banknotes, gold and antiques at the Community Football Centre between 10am and 12pm.
Specialist advice is free and people are encouraged to just drop in with their items for valuation.
Half of the vendor’s commission on items sold at auction following consignment at the event will be donated to BACT.
The community trust’s range of programmes to Inspire, Engage and Educate deliver opportunities for people of all ages across the area.
Representing Richard Winterton Auctioneers on November 26 will be medals and militaria consultant Nick Thompson and numismatist Phil Bridge who will be offering advice on all kinds of coins and banknotes.
They will join the jewellery and antiques valuation team of Isabel Murtough and Erica Conroy.
Katie Johnson, BACT community manager, said: “We are delighted to have formed this partnership with Richard Winterton Auctioneers and are grateful for their support of our programmes.
“It is lovely to be able to invite members of the community into our building to get antiques and items valued and then also see members of the community benefit through our programmes.
“We really encourage people to come down and see the team with their items.”
Valuations for coins, medals, militaria, jewellery, watches, gold and antiques take place between 10am and 12pm on Tuesday, November 5, at Burton Albion Community Trust, Pirelli Stadium Princess Way, Burton Albion Community Football Centre, Burton-on-Trent DE13 0AR.
