Designer duo of iconic Chanel bags
CHANEL bags are the very stuff designer dreams are made of.
Here, Louise Ludlam-Snook discusses two Chanel flap bags recently consigned for our new Watch and Designer Sale at the beautiful St Mary's in the Market Square in Lichfield city centre on July 15.
"This is an exciting sale for us; there's a real market for good condition, second-hand designer items and watches and these bags fit in perfectly.
"Chanel is such an iconic brand. A lot of women would love to own a Chanel bag but they are expensive. Auction is a great way to get your hands on a classic designer bag at a fraction of the price.
"Here we have a crinkled calfskin double flap bag, the mint/grey calfskin leather is subtle and soft, the quilted diamond design, double C logo clasp and interwoven leather and chain strap are instantly recognisable as Chanel design. This has an auction estimate of £1,000 to £1,500.
"We also have a chocolate bar reissue flap bag, the rectangular turn lock fastening in gunmetal colour has a modern look but still has classic Chanel features. This bag is estimated at £800 to £1,200. Both bags have their original authenticity cards and maker's dust bags and have been well looked after so are in great condition.
"We are currently consigning for our Watch and Designer Sale on July 15, so please come and see us!"

Special valuations also take place in Tamworth and Sutton Coldfield on Monday, June 24 - experts will be at The Castle Hotel, Ladybank, Tamworth, between 11am-12.30pm and at The Trinity Centre, Church Hill, Mill Street, Sutton Coldfield, between 2pm-3.30pm.
