IN line with the latest Government advice on Covid-19 [January 4 2021] The Lichfield Auction Centre remains closed to the public but online-only auctions and professional services are permitted to continue.At Richard Winterton Auctioneers, safety of our staff and clients is paramount and we continue to build upon the numerous ways we have adapted the business since the advent of coronavirus.
Professional services Estate/letting agents and removals firms can continue to work in the latest lockdown, so if you are moving, downsizing or administering an estate, we are still available to help.

Virtual valuations We have been offering free and professional contactless digital auction estimates since June for all manner of items and can set up virtual valuations in numerous ways to suit individual clients. Collections by appointment only Post-sale collections on a ‘click and collect’ basis are permitted. All items must be paid for in advance and pick-ups operate strictly by appointment only – telephone 01543 251081 or email office@richardwinterton.co.uk.
Appointment slots are offered from 10am-4pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).

Online auctions behind closed doors The latest guidance permits auctions to be held online. Our online-only Antiques & Home Sales most Mondays are proving increasingly popular and feature a range of items including jewellery, silver, watches, militaria, coins, vintage toys, records, memorabilia, ceramics, pictures, furniture, collectables, technology, household electricals and more.
They are safe, secure, efficient and reach bidders across the globe.
